After having messed around with Sierra's Automatic Trendlines, I realized what I'm really looking for is the automatic "channel line". But allow me to explain further. I'm not looking for a ready-made garden-variety channel indicator. What I want is a duplicate of the trendline already drawn. I would use that to extend x-amount (eg. price, %, or a specific price coordinate) above or below the given trendline. That way, for example, I can go long when the bottom channel line is touched (or sell if breached), and vice versa for the upper channel.schizo, I am sure numerous platforms allow that.
