Bernie is like the Pied Piper for the progressives. They are trying to out-commie each other but end out endorsing some real goofy stuff that they have to live with in general election.
Bernie came out and said he is now running on/endorsing a single payer health care system. Yup, within days all the others were there. Now it is guaranteed employment and Cory Booker and Gillibrand signed right up. I guess Kamela Harris has not gotten the memo yet. She will be there tomorrow.
Whatever. It is the same old dilemma where they came out of the last election concluding that they needed to go more toward the center to recapture the regular working class folk. And then practically the very next day Bernie started taking them over to the far left- and because the only dem voters who are energized are progressives, the dem candidate wannabes all run to catch up.
Let em have their fun. Where they are going to get burned is that they want the nomination but if Bernie does not get it this time, he will go third party and take all their progressive voters with him. Will be lots of fun there too.
Berrnie is still cranking the calculator to let us know what the total cost is for the guaranteed single payer health care and the guaranteed employment. Gonna have to grow and tax a lot of weed for that comrade but its a vote getter for progressives and at least Bernie has the balls to tell people that he is a socialist rather play the pretend game.
