Until Goldman and citadel drop 250 million into Bernie’s piggy bank. It will never happen...and Bernie or Joe have to come up with a better idea then higher taxes to win.

Remember, their entire platform is "why should anyone need $X?" where "$X" is some arbitrary "wealth limit" set by jackasses who've never worked an honest day in their life and supported by the weakest generational links who also don't know anything about money or how to keep it.

The ultimate goal of this is equality of outcome. If the millennials who majored in feminist dance therapy can't afford to eat, we all shouldn't be able to afford to eat. Bernie Panders is their God.

any transaction tax, no matter how small, will kill off the retail trading business. "why is it not 6%." are you mathematically challenged?

The stupid thing is, all those trades are already taxed. Twice. Bernie should pitch in and pay some actual tax instead of writing it off.
 
People are already paying taxes on capital gains from trading. Whenever people made a profit, they pay taxes on 50% of the gain and that's still not enough? So now you want to tax people when they lose money too? On top of the commissions, regulatory fees, exchange fees, margin interest, and whatever fees that the brokerage wants to charge, now traders have to pay taxes too? Seriously? Why don't you tax taking the dump too while you are at it? Every time when someone takes a dump he/she has to pay $100. How's that for paying for free education?

Stupid! Bernie Sanders should be checked for Alzheimer's before being permitted to run. In fact, any candidates above the age of 60 should get tested for Alzheimer's before being allowed to run for Presidency.
