Bernie Sanders Transaction Tax?

Not sure what your point is? Are you saying Bernie and co are following the social media tribe so unlikely to be a problem so don’t worry about the tax.

Or that we the traders have got the wrong end of the stick as to what the tax is ?

I think Trump 2020 is a lock so don't worry about the tax.. main point is these Dem candidates got pulled so far to the left they are disconnected from the everyday people.

Trump 20/20 is far from a lock. Even with the the great economy and low unemployment, aside from republican voters, he is one of the least popular presidents in modern history. Has he had 50% overall approval yet? He disapproval is consistently higher than his approval. Take a look at fivethirtyeight.com which aggregates all the polls. As of yesterday over 50% of the country believed he was a racist according to one poll. The Democrats thought Hillary was a lock, but 80,000 votes in 3 states changed that. If the economy changes, Trump could very well be a one termer. With that said, I doubt Bernie wins the nomination and even if he actually became president, the likelihood of a transaction tax becoming a a law is nonexistent with a Senate controlled by Republicans. Besides, Democrats take Wall Street money as well which makes them less likely to write/support revamping the tax code to include a transaction tax.

Absolutely correct. The Brits voted Churchill out of power after he saved the country from the Nazis. As Yogi Berra once said it ain't over till it is over.

Depends who he is up against I guess. A crash in the economy and a hard left guy promising a magic money tree of spending and Trump will almost certainly lose as the blue collar workers he appealed to will probably desert him.

A polished career politician will probably lose to Trump through as voters are rejecting the mainstream
