You don't think there are millions living a decent life, not rich, not poor, at least in material goods, that aren't happy?. Don't inflict your sensibilities on others. Set your goals, and be happy when you reach them, understanding they come with a whole new set of problems. Reach out. Teach. Bring people to your level. Drag them up, instead of pushing them down. Empowerment. It's a happiness that if you've not felt it, you are truly deprived. I am very blessed having several people look up to me, admire my values, and allow me to help them. Try it.

Going back years ago, I get divorced, we have a 4 yo daughter, ex wife remarries. The guy she married works for a company and the owner is stealing his company blind. Soon he isn't paying his employees, including my ex's new husband.
I'm calling this guy pleading for him to pay my ex wifes new husband, because frankly I know where this is going. The new husband is going to relocate out of state if he has to get a new job and take my daughter with him.
The owner gets busted goes to jail, ex wife and kid move across country and that was that.
White collar crime has trickle down effects that really change peoples lives.
