Bernard Madoff, Mastermind of Giant Ponzi Scheme, Dies at 82

He got early paroled. His sentence is supposed to be for 150 years and he only served like 12 years, less than 1/10 of the sentence. And no, for all what he did, may he not rest in peace. People lost their lives, lived in fear, lost their life savings that they have worked all their lives for, charities lost their donations that they were using to help others because of him.

And last year his lawyer had the gall to ask for him to be released and serve the rest of his sentence in the comfort of his home because of Covid-19. LOL Can't believe somebody would take advantage of a dreadful disease from millions of have lost their lives for his own personal gain still. Prisons are really not rehabilitative. Let's see if Hell is.

In all fairness his strategy seemed like a good idea, as long as the scheme kept going. It would have never been a Ponzi scheme if everything went to plan. And he probably didn't plan on ripping anyone off when he first started. Seems like his idea just exploded in his face.

But that's the way it goes sometimes.

That might made him lived longer.

I wonder if his victims would live that long.
they might be having all sorts of mental stress which might shorten their lives.

Well good thing his request to serve his sentence at home because of covid was denied.

In all fairness, a scheme is also a strategy. But schemes are bad while strategies are good? UG! Like the rest of the fucking world.
