Ron paul would win an internet election by a landslide. On almost every internet forum I've been to almost everyone supports ron paul.

If the election was only held on the internet, then everyone who normally voted at a voting office would just go online. If Ron has such a following on the internet, there is nothing from stopping his supporters from going out and voting for him the way elections are now.
The problem is that when all votes are tallied, the internet support doesn't amount to enough to win the election. This is because the type of people who support Ron are more likely to express themselves using the internet.
Don't confuse this with him having more voters.
