Ben Carson: A Muslim shouldn't be elected president

All the facts I listed would lead any reasonable person to consider Obama is a Muslim. Politicians are like women. Actions speak louder then words. America took out saddam in two days. Isis isn't as rich or well organized. Us military could destroy Isis within a few days easily. They haven't. Nor have they attacked known Isis training camps or Isis controlled oil fields. Why. U tell me

You know why. Odumbo is an Islamic terrorist himself... wants Isis to succeed... same reason he's doing the Iran nuclear deal.

ISIS is a scourge to the entire civilized world. You think the rest of the world is also holding back because of some hidden agenda?

The rest of the world isn't holding back. Putin is sending in troops as we speak. It is only the US (obama) led NATO contingent that is holding back. Or don't you follow current events.

Not the rest of the world, just us. I don't buy into the Muslim sympathy thing (if I were to consider a reason why we haven't been more aggressive). I think it has more to do with the fact that they were enemies of Assad. Man, if that's the case, did Russia just complicate the shit out of matters, or what?:D

Then why hasn't ISIS been taken out in a few days, like achilles28 thinks it can be done? Is Russia that inferior?

I think this conflict is multi-layered, and the enemy is far more elusive than achilles28 appears to believe.

Maybe it is U.S. policy that instability in the Middle East is desired. The U.S. would not like to see one dominant country in the region. I expect politicians in Washington would fear the rise of Turkey or Iran as a regional power.

Russia desires stability in the Middle East region with more Russian involvement in energy and pipelines (e.g. involvement in Syria) while also working to effectively re-create the old Soviet Union in its own backyard (e.g. the Ukraine conflict).

We may be just watching the expected geo-politics playing out.
