Not just investors, the entire population has ungone a standard of living devaluation for the past 30 years, especially in the U.S.

Yet, I think by year 2020 this will all change. Societies run in cycles: Growth, Protest, Unraveling and Crisis. We are in the Crisis stage. After this will be growth, peace and prosperity for a generation, before the protestors arise again and renew the spirial downward. "What goes around comes around."
