Belligerence is the currency of the intellectually bankrupt

Quote from trefoil:

Mcveigh's bombing of OK City was the largest terrorist act ever perpetrated prior to 9/11. It's still the single largest terrorist act perpetrated by a US citizen on US citizens.
It's not a lie. It's not even an exaggeration.

I thought the largest homegrown act of terror was the USG "Shock and Awe" against the women and children at Waco...

The USG made McVeigh...his actions, despicable as they were, was a direct result of Waco.

You are obviously entitled to your opinions...

That you confuse them with facts is well...

"The USG made McVeigh...his actions, despicable as they were, was a direct result of Waco."

Oh...I got it.

McVeigh was a victim of the US government because of what happened at Waco, and he had no other sane choice but to commit an act of terrorism that killed innocent Americans...

Sorry vader, your thinking is severely twisted...

Amazing, a Timothy McVeigh apologist...

Come now O777, you are better than that !

Action / Reaction............What is going on at these "townhall" meetings is a reaction to proposed central government action.
I could extend this example one hundred times.

What causes a person to go off the deep end and cause pain and death like McVeigh did, versus other people legally and peacefully protesting the heinous central government actions at Waco? I don't know.....

On the other hand.........what causes the taxpayer funded bureaucrats to go off the deep end and massacre women and children ? I don't know........

Hmmm, I assume you're a liberal. This type of thinking, which rejects the notion of personal responsibility and invokes the 'culture of victimization' (My actions were not my responsibility because I am a victim of [racists, the government, my lecherous daddy, my mean high school teacher, society]), is the hallmark of the PC multi-culti Leftists.

To suggest that Waco was a bigger act of terrorism than McVeigh's mass murder is so stupid as to beggar belief. Sorry, but those are the facts.

Quote from Lucrum:
If I'm not mistaken the mods deleted it, but many of us saw it anyway. And you know it.

Even if the evidence was still there, give the guy some time will ya?

He's got well over 20,000 Posts to search through.
Those posts were definitely deleted by the mods, that's why HWCBM (He Who Cannot Be Mentioned) is so smug about asking you to post the proof. There is one above, posted by MoM0, which leaves little room for creative interpretation.

With all due respect to you, those are your facts.

With continued respect, I would hope your trading instincts are better than your discernment of the political spectrum.

Well, I've learned a lot about leftists like you since I've arrived here. To be perfectly honest, I really didn't have much exposure to this type of thinking until I ran into individuals like HWCBM.

At any rate, the idea that McVeigh's act wasn't his fault but was somehow the result of the psychological hits he took as a result of watching the Waco debacle ('his actions were the result of Waco', isn't that what you said?) exemplifies the Politically Correct 'culture of victimization' way of thinking. It removes responsibility from the actor and places it in the hands of some other person or group. It's a way of thinking I despise.

Yes, that is what I stated.
I made the statement because that is what his cohorts stated.
Also, OKC took place on the anniversary of Waco..........

So, you put 2 and 2 together.....

Indeed there people are reactionary...

So?

That makes them right in what they are doing, simply because they are pissed off?

Oy vey...
