Nice points. I’d like to add to that an effective money management strategy also.
 
I don't understand why people get bored with forex trading. Forex trading is a very interesting place. You can never predict whats going to happen in it. I think they make the decision of forex trading in the spur of the moment. They need to assess their decision first.

i left forex (not currency trading) because its the wild west of financial investment, its unregulated and many questionable brokers out there with shady practices.
Trading is already difficult as it is without having to worry about your broker playing games on you.
i'm more comfortable trading futures

Exactly. Majority use Forex for making money, never realizing that this very thought/decision kill their own funds. If they don't make money, they get bored like dull looking at chart for nothing. Managements, skills, patience, analyzing, priority are what makes Forex interesting and profitable.

i agree but but if you get a good broker the fact that it is the most liquid market helps..it does follow technicals but because it is relative strength market, you need to trade really well
 
Forex is not easy and success does not come to everyone. Only those succeed who are willing to work hard with a disciplined mind and keep their emotions under control. Be patient as forex will consume a lot of your time. But the rewards of your efforts are totally worth it!
