Being both long and short at same time

So I am a troll; not true and based on nothing, just name calling. This is what you get from people that think they are TOO smart to be wrong, have no rebuttal, and need to silence speech that could cause someone without TDS to question their position. How's that for name calling?
My recollection was 100 consecutive winning trades, really. The chance of that happening exceeds the odds of winning the power ball lottery 100 consecutive times, by some number with a lot of zero's. People win the power ball all the time, but only Hillary has 100 consecutive winning trades.
This is a discussion about going long and short at the same time. You can see that in the title, it's near the top of the thread, looks something like:
A troll, in case you're unfamiliar with what you are, is someone who throws a random, completely unrelated to the topic, generally political accusation into a thread because, apparently, they get their jollies out of provoking a reaction in others. They add no value to anything, and anywhere they show up is worse because of it. They also react violently to their true nature being revealed, and often scramble desperately to derail the thread if their first attempts to do so fail.
The best strategy for a troll is to identify them and then make light of the topic they hoped to use to derail the discussion and provoke a reaction, they really can't seem to take the light of day or failure. You're doing a great job of reacting just like every other troll, well done with your 3 posts here sir, well done!
Well; my comment was clearly on topic. Equally long and short at the same time, in the same in the same instrument. That was the plan, with one party getting all the winners and the other getting all the losers.
The only see two possible benefit from this equally long and short nonsense. #1 you can convince yourself that you are having success as a day trader since the commissions and slippage are much less than what you were losing at the casino, and you don't have to leave the house. Or, #2 a method to conceal a financial transaction. I don't think Hillary was going to the casino!
Your post stating; "It's just a shame the Republicans ended pork belly trading just because of her." What does that have to do with being long and short at the same time NOTHING. So who is the troll? Thanks for the practice writing articulate on point e-mails. I will be writing those e-mails next week, the same as every other week, to the deal killer incompetent attorneys i have to deal with. Now that's off topic!

You keep making my point. No rebuttal on the merits, just more name calling. So now you up your game to personal insults, so typical. Don't hold back, get your copy of Alinsky's Rules for Radicals out from under your pillow and review the demonetization tactics so you can prepare, if you have the urge to continue.

The AML people at the firm or clearinghouse will "very likely" take a hard look at this. It comes off looking as classic AML or a tax game. It may not be either, but the AML folks are gonna go nuts - especially if it shows as two clearing numbers. As Robert pointed out if they are 1256 you'll have to mark at yearend.
