Beginning of the End For Christie?

Quote from Spike Trader:

only until they had to.

Exactly. I checked Fox this morning because I was curious how they are handling it, and around 10 am, they were talking about Obama, when all the other networks were analyzing the situation.

Now 10 minutes after the event, they are talking about Obamacare. So TT is obviously missled by his assumption the right is handling and reporting on it. Sure, they broadcasted the conference, but where is the in depth analysis???

I think Christie handled it pretty well, and the most important thing I took away is that he is excersizing....

Please Jem . . . the Party desperately needs you.
McCain is recommending Jindal.:(.

===============================================

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) favors Govs. Chris Christie (N.J.) and Bobby Jindal (La.) as candidates for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016.

During a Monday appearance on “The Tonight Show" with his daughter Meghan McCain, host Jay Leno asked McCain whom he would support.

“I think we’ve got a lot of governors,” McCain said. “I like Chris Christie. I like Bobby Jindal. I like a number of those people who have succeeded in states that have both Republican and Democrat."

McCain then mentioned implicit tensions between himself and other potential candidates who are opposed to the interventionist foreign policies that McCain has supported, like Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

"I think, in the Republican Party, we are going to have a group of people, frankly, are isolationist and there's an international wing," McCain said. "I think it's going to be a very interesting debate."

Leno asked Meghan McCain, a columnist and blogger, whom she would support leading up to 2016.

"I'm deciding, it's too hard, I've learned at this point, too far out until you've learned more about the candidates," she said. "I like Chris Christie but we got in a fight and now I don't like him anymore. He may not be my top contender for 2016. I like to see the field, I still like Marco Rubio, but he did not like that answer. He went, like, pretty crazy on me. I think [Christie] hates me, and [Christie] loves [Rubio]."

It's a start, though. Hopefully he'll change his diet as well.

Kinda hoping Christie is not shot down over this. If we have to have a republican president I'd rather have him than one of the deep kooks.

P.S.: Since morbidly obese people don't live very long, and he is 52, his weight is a huge liability for the Presidency....

He has had the lap band or stomach staple surgery which has pretty good prognosis so he should be in fighting weight within the year. This scandal is definitely a black eye but should be easily overcome.

Once we spring forward we are staying forward.
we need daylight in the afternoon.

- No personal income taxes

- Flat tax, no outs, for corporate taxes
cap federal spending at current amount

- All bailouts we be for tax payers not companies.

-Single Payer catastrophic insurance for all - but no obamacare framework or exchanges as we need to restore liberty (maybe some wellness stuff too)

- Pulling back the military from at least 75% of the countries we are in.

- abortion and gay marriage will be state issues but gay marriages do not have to be recognized by other states even for military members. if kids are involved do the proper adoption paperwork.

- drill baby drill but if using federal lands royalties must be paid

- term limits, no leadership accounts, only individuals registered to vote may donate and the money must go through an FEC account earmarked for the Federal Candidate.

- all candidate must present authenticated paperwork showing they are eligible to run in Federal elections.

- school can not start until after labor day

- no immigration until americans are back to work

when americans are back to work we will allow more immigration but people who come in via immigration shall not vote until certain thresholds are met... including the payment of over 5000 dollars a year in property taxes. (for 3 straight years) and adjusted for inflation.

all safety net programs will be redesigned for skin in the game (able bodied people will go to work and training) and means testing.

all corporate welfare and subsidies will be means tested as well.
we will eliminate stupid shit like wasting fuel or aquifer allocations so you can get the same allocation the next year. Federal and Military spending will be redesigned to encourage efficient use over power.

there are other programs I have seen on et that should be included in any platform designed to make effective change.

Except, that is, for Fox News, where a lot of people started noticing that Christie's name was barely being uttered:

This is foxnews right now. Why don't you let the adults talk while you go play xbox or something, kiddo.

You're another tool. There it is in giant pics and headlines.

Where were the MSNBC bright lights when OBama claimed to "not know" about all the other scandals?
