What market is down 40% from previous highs this year? Or any all time high? Individual stocks, sure, many of them are down 80-90 percent. But what market index? Please enlighten us.

6/8/22: i see futes is down this morning....maybe today is the DAY to short the stonk market or will it be another trap? we'll see...

Best trades have been long since May 12th. My accounts are up 20%+ since then all long positions. You can talk about "bear markets" all you want but the TSX is down less then 2% ytd and the TSX capped energy index is up 67.3% ytd.

most traders here trade futes aka spy...so when i said the stonk market...i mean spy and not tsx...
 
also i hate to repeat myself....when i said shorting the stonk market. i do pair trading between spxl/uvxy. and i just got paid today 6/8/22 with spxl!
 
Seems like recently which ever direction the gap is the opposite goes on during the day. Its almost green already. Seems like the sentiment is mildly positive to sideways.

it is choppy with extra wild volatility today...killing both the bulls and bear spy options. loving it.

Thx will check SPXL, I was pair trading SOXL UVXY... looking for UVXY bounce soon
