Beer, which is your favorite???

Ice-cold Corona sandwiched between hits of Cuervo, thankyouverymuch ...

Jeezus, I can't tell u how many times this disaster has left me praying to the porcelain god, but even thinking of it gives me that pre-puke saliva.

As for favorite beer, right now has to be blue moon summer ale or dos equis (green bottle).

Or when you go to bed, look up, and the ceiling is spinning out of control.

For 2 centuries my #1 was a steady :)

Heinekin

----------------------

Then for a short period of time ..

Binding Bier (Frankfurt, Germany)

Then Brahma (Brazilian)

Then Negra Modelo (Mexico)

Then Sapporo (Japan)

-----------------------

Then for years and years the top slot was for

SINGHA (Thighland)

and for special occasions ...

CHIMAY (Belgium)

------------------------

As of last week top honors are now shared by

BeerLao (Laos)

Angkhor regular & dark (Cambodia) .... the dark easily flogs all English beers incl. Guiness :)

these recent brews will probably last a few decades or lifetimes :)

And as always just one large bottle is all it takes; anything beyond that is an overrrun, so rarely done and always regretted it. :)

w.r.t. last section ... Angkor dark beer (Cambodia), just saw this and didn't know that it had won the award for best darkie ever in Asia. Hardly important but nice to know. :)

I stumbled into this beer when I bought 6 different ones (can) at a minimart in PP, Cambodia. Didn't think much, just drank the german one first, the next day the aussie one and so on. On the last day, took a gulp of the Angkor darkie and almost fell off the chair with a loud "fck, this is awesome stuff"

Working out a tax deal for regular cases shipped to me. :) :)

outside of the many good microbrews you can only find locally, the best retail beers going come from Shiner.

I love the Bock and they have many others that are great beers.

Enjoy this one on me-

I like light beers. I don't know why I don't get into the heavy German beers...

Do you mean light in color or calories? I dont like the stout and ales, I prefer a crisp lager, like Red Stripe. If you havent tried I think you would enjoy it.

WHat is technical difference between an ale, stout and lager?

I like all beers.

We have a microbrewery here that makes a Stout called Terminator.

I like that.

However I make my own now.

Most recent is "Nightstick Grog" Stout. Tasty thick and super strong lager stout that was aged 2.5 months before bottling.

Recently made a Light smooth ale. Very smooth with a hint of spiciness.

Have "Sargent Hops" brewing ... which is a wheat amber ale.

Super hoppy.
