Beef Recall

Quote from Thunderdog:

Okay, but bottom line it for me: generally speaking, are non-hydrogenated unsaturated fats better than saturated fats for cardiovascular health?

Of course. EPA fish oil is polyunsatruated fat that reduces triglycerides.

Right, they're relatively high in BCAA, but the diet isn't sustainable. I stated lentils/legumes in my last post. Can you imagine the GI discomfort?
Yeah, but on the plus side, think how easy it would be to get a seat on a bus.
:D

Just my 2 cents - people always forget that societies have empirically developed diets over 1000s of years. If you want to know what works, a good starting point is the traditional diet for your ethnic type and/or region. That means organic food, and probably a lot less meat, cheese, white flour, fried food, and sugar for many people. Most of all people might want to keep an open mind and not get rabidly attached to one particular dietary theory but just pay attention to the effect ivarious diets have on your body.
