I see you were quite busy in here posting during some directional market action. Hope you caught the ES short 1358 - out 1346 like we did.

Some clovers, beans and other legumes contain +/- 20% protein per weight. In other words five pounds of stalks, leaves and flower heads (sex organs to the plant) roughly equal one pound of lean meat like skinned chicken breast, broiled beef or ground 'possum (the other white meat).
Let's ass u me that five pounds of spinach has equal protein content as these ultra-rich feed crops do. It does not, but I'll pretend for a moment if you do. Agreed?
You being the vegan that you are, meeting your personal protein requirement might mean consuming five pounds of fresh spinach if you refuse the more nutrient-dense forms of protein such as one pound of chicken, beef or 'possum.
saint, I love spinach much as or more than anyone still bothering to read this drivel. But... five pounds per day is not an efficient way to gather our protein. At all.
You are more than welcome to plow thru that pile of roughage every day if you desire. That'll sure keep you healthy in every way. Ever change a baby's diaper after their lunchtime jar of spinach?
I'll make a suggestion or two:
#1: Keep a box of wet wipes handy. At all times
#2: When nature calls, answer immediately. You'll have no time to stall
#3: If you enjoy a couple of beers afterwards to wash down those yummy greens, the yeast in that beer will live long and prosper all the way thru your digestive tract. If you are sleeping and awaken to a warm, rumbling tummy... get out of bed. Fast
#4: If you get tired of spinach, beet greens are about equal in value. Feel free to substitute those for a changeup... but I gotta warn ya, they create a lot more gas than spinach will.
#5: Ruminants (hoofed critters with chambered stomachs that chew cud) = vegans are said to potty somewhere between 10x to 30x more volume per equal body weight than we omnivores do on a daily basis. If you ever worked on a farm, you know that already.
Like I said before, please keep those wet wipes handy on your spinach-protein diet. For your sake, and everyone else around you
