Becoming an ordained minister to avoid taxes?

How difficult is it to become one. Become a minister, then create a christian church of investment.

Live tax free from the proceeds. Like Joel Osteen, Benny Hinn etc..

Those guys live lavish taxfree lives.


Maybe we should tax churches.

Wow its easier than getting the Series 7 or even a drivers license.

Here is the ninth commandment:

'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'


Isn't it nice to be an atheist and be free (so they think) from this commandment.

Yes they do. The church is non profit and they are just living in the church.

Like Benny Hinn, Joel olestin and his ilk. They make billions in tax free money.

I think ordained ministers make the IRS top ten list. I suppose one might be much better off soliciting charitable contributions, skim 90% off the top (paying taxes on this of course) and donate the 10% balance doing "Gods Work", much like GS.

to be factual. ministers do pay tax on their salary but they have figured out how to skim a lot of money off the top tax free.
