You should though be just bright enough to realize there's a ying and yang inherent in every solution.
Of course Bernanke has an idea of what he's doing. He's faced with an insolvent banking system, a deteriorating economy, deflationary pressures and a historically high level of debt issuance. His ONLY CHOICE is to re-inflate.
So as a trader you know Bernanke's game plan. It's a given. Do we in turn know how it'll play out? Or when? Not really. Which puts us on the same plane as any other policy maker.....
And for all of you who are going to say"it'll be inflationary man!! Don't you KNOW that!!!" Sorry I don't know that nor do I know any thing else for that matter. A word to the wise, the inflation expectation-which I generally hold too-is a very, very, very crowded view.

We have the makings for it. Financial crisis... made even worse (intentionally?) by politicos and Fed? LOTS of people feel they are "really hurting". jews just lucked into being banker's in the early days- it was actually a profession that was looked down upon by the rest of society. so don't credit (blame) the jews for their position as bankers- the rest of the world pushed it onto them.
now then, one might wonder why the rest of the world did that-- maybe, just maybe this isn't the first economic collapse caused by bankers, and the jews were the only one's with too short of a memory to remember what happened to the last batch of bankers.
we know rome suffered a credit meltdown and history is a black hole during that time. i wonder who had one before them? why do islamic beliefs discourage the use of interest and lending, is their memory the longest?
we are in a bad situation and the parallels are so crazy to ww2 and the jews being hunted by hitler, i just hope that this doesn't turn into the US being hunted by the rest of the world. (especially since in the next decade china will have the most nuclear subs)
and why does everyone think it is in china's best interest to go along with everyone and continue to finance our debt? remember they caused a mass starvation of their population in the not-to-distant past. if they are willing to contribute to massive starvation of their own citizens- i would think they'd be willing to sacrifice a few years of prosperity to remove the biggest player from the game (US). hell, if i was in charge of china i'd be looking to initiate a nice little war of attrition.
