An organiser of a Black Lives Matter protest used her profile to raise money for charity she then spent it on herself, a judge said as she was jailed for two and a half years.

Xahra Saleem, now aged 23, gained a high public profile as a member of the BLM march in Bristol in 2020, formed as a response to the murder of black man George Floyd by police in the US.
