#BeBest, Rhetoric just fine

Well... in this case.... go dig up my support for the good general. Please link all of my posts supportive of Flynn in your next post below.

I have stated that the FBI was overzealous in pursuing their case of Flynn as part of the Trump "Russia" probe. This is evidenced by the DOJ unwillingness to further pursue it after court challenges. The Flynn case is the only one where I believe they overstepped (in context of Trump "Russia").

I never made Flynn out to be some sort of great general or advisor.

Didn't even have to try:

you asked for proof of your reverence to the general

I was merely blasting someone for their negative opinion before an administration even got into office. You at least need to give an administration time to get into office then you can judge them on their policies and effectiveness.

Whether the administration is Obama’s, Trump’s or Biden’s I allow time for them to show results before blasting them. To be fair the Trump administration took less than a year to prove to be a disorganized fiasco with an incompetent leader.

Trump-inspired death threats are terrorizing election workers

Election officials and their families are living with threats of hanging, firing squads, torture and bomb blasts, interviews and documents reveal. The campaign of fear, sparked by Trump's voter-fraud falsehoods, threatens the U.S. electoral system.

Late on the night of April 24, the wife of Georgia’s top election official got a chilling text message: “You and your family will be killed very slowly.”

A week earlier, Tricia Raffensperger, wife of Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, had received another anonymous text: “We plan for the death of you and your family every day.”

That followed an April 5 text warning. A family member, the texter told her, was “going to have a very unfortunate incident.”

In an exclusive interview, Tricia Raffensperger spoke publicly for the first time about the threats of violence to her family and shared the menacing text messages with Reuters.

“I couldn’t have them come to my house anymore,” she said. “You don’t know if these people are actually going to act on this stuff.”

That evening, people who identified themselves to police as Oath Keepers – a far-right militia group that has supported Trump’s bid to overturn the election – were found outside the Raffenspergers’ home, according to Tricia Raffensperger and two sources with direct knowledge of the family’s ordeal. Neither incident has been previously reported.

“Brad and I didn’t feel like we could protect ourselves,” she said, explaining the decision to flee their home.

Brad Raffensperger told Reuters in a statement that “vitriol and threats are an unfortunate, but expected, part of public service. But my family should be left alone.”

Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, a Democrat, told Reuters she continues to receive death threats. Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson – a Democrat who faced armed protesters outside her home in December – is also still getting threats, her spokesperson said, declining to elaborate.
