Not yet!!! I would wait until the market shows a bit of signs of going up before buying. If you buy now, you MAY suffer further setbacks before making a profit. I like to buy when the price is on its way up not when the price could be still going down. Just my 2 cents.

The only way to force the fed to cut rates is to tank equities. I will the first to say that if the markets continue to sell off week after week leading into the next fed meeting in September they will cut rates.....the stronger the sell off the more they cut. Could be a 50 point rate cut if trillions more are knocked off asset prices in weeks to come ....
Fed bows to the market and like I have been saying if you want rate cuts you'll need much lower equity prices.
Don't let it fool you, april 19th was a gigantic drop only followed by a continous run up into july. I wouldn't doubt a few huge rallies as markets continue their drop though so be careful. You are going to get gigantic volatility, remember last week the nasdaq rallied 500 points, we will see huge days like that but those days will be opportunities to take profits. Again watch the semiconductors, they were the absolute leaders of the pack outpacing the markets so without their leadership it will be very difficult for technology Stocks to advance moving forward.
