Bad fill... started jumped around and I pressed the button when it was trading 1.4221

^^Market went 1 tick away from my target twice so I moved my first target down 1 tick... market eventually traded at my 1 point target but I'm not sure if I would've gotten filled.
P/L: $37.50
Today's total P/L: -$62.50

Most likely done for today, will probably only sim this afternoon if anything.
Red today, but still feel optimistic and think I'm getting better each day. Just have to stay diligent and stick to my plan.
 
another day in the green for me.. seriously why are trying to gain a point.. whoa!!!!!!lo.. seriously looka t how terrible your trading is... just buy one and hold it or sell one and hold it.. tryholding it for 3 hours and then exit.. or try holding it until you get 6 pts profit... seriously ho wmuch PAIN can you take ! i gav eyou 20 days and that was too many.. lol you say you are learning and doing better... ha hah aha.. no way man .. stop rationalizing your crappy trading.. it is not you but the technique.. scalping for a point.. scalping is not based on time.. it is based on points in my opinion. Anyway i wish you good luck but now i give you ten days max before you go belly up.. also not sure where you can actually trade a futures a with 1000 bucks.
 
Sorry didn't post yesterday.

Yesterday I ended the day early with +$37.50 (There was one trade signal that fired off in the afternoon that I wasn't around to get.

Anyway today...

Bought 1 ES - 971.00
Sold 1 ES - Target (972.00)
P/L: $50

Short 1 ES - 970.50
Cover 1 ES - Target 969.50
P/L: $50

Total P/L: $100

I'll come back this afternoon and see if volume picks up at all, but I'm most likely done for today.
 
Going to look at possibly taking some longer term swing trades.

Took one to today in SIM.

Short 2 ES - 970.25
(Using a 16 tick stop on both contracts.)
Cover 1 ES - 10 Tick Target (967.75)
Cover 1 ES - 20 Tick Target (965.25)

SIM P/L: +$375

Need to test this strategy out a few more times before I take anything live.
Plus the fact that my current system would require a stop loss of -$400.
 
there you go kylash now you are starting to get on the right track.. have made ten times as much as you have lost while doing this journal.. and i did only ten trades total! think if you would have bought jsut 1 es contract 2 weeks ago and held until today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hold for a day or two or at least 3-4 hrs.

You have absolutely no clue what you are doing. Being "committed" to your trades will certainly wipe you out sooner rather than later. Start your own journal so we can see how fast it happens.

Reached $200 stop out and am done for the day..... sticking to my plan.
