hehe, sabena, ambition is always good - i'm understanding the above as a joke -, and as i said before, i'm certainly wishing you well and looking forward to following your process...

suggestion: if your ultimate goal is the largest market anyway, and as, apart from liquidity considerations, markets are markets, why not start out there from the outset, say at a reputable retail operation like oanda.com, and once you exceed their max position size move on to an institutional multibank platform like currenex, fxall or atriax or just some single bank dealing relationship?

that would offer you the advantage of being able to start earlier with your operation as you wouldn't have to wait for adequate electronic s&p liquidity, no?

cheers

...So, ddefina, question for you, why do you think the whole trading game works, why is it possible to take money out of the markets over the long run?
If you say it's a stupid question it would be an answer to me. Even If you do not answer I will KNOW what you KNOW.
In conclusion, From my experience working at Merc for few years I KNOW, old-timers DON'T KNOW.

P.S. ddefina I can't wait to go over your posts.

Just playing with words Cesko. It's funny that there really is a secret (consistency) to the markets and few Know it. My angle is pure probabilities that exploit the short/med trending biases of the markets. I lose $2 and make $4 on average, thats my angle (a backwards slot machine).

Cesko,

The only thing you will ever truly KNOW about the markets and trading, is that you will never truly KNOW...

PEACE and good trading,
Commisso

PS; Sabena why dont you get the ball rolling and start posting some trades...

well, it's all hype now. pity, I hoped for something interesting to happen with this thread.

Come on TNTNeo, this is a hype thread to begin with isn't it?:)

I want to take over the T-bill market someday, just need to build my accounts a little more. :D

I was bored so I summarized some of LW's statements. Simply astounding inter-month volatility! I wonder what his risk of ruin % would be. Trading 1 car per $1K I wonder what the ROR comes out as.

That's the kind of volatility I will
try to avoid...

I will try to approach the ideal, meaning
to get over to 11000% approaching as much
as possible the straight line from 0%
to 11000 %

It's more about how you get there then
how much you make....
