Sabena,

I truly believe that what one man can do another man can do!
So in my best Rob Schneider rendition YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!

PEACE and good trading,
Commisso

No, I should not say at most 2 % of capital
on each trade...

My money management rules are just in
function of the largest drawdown experienced
in points , not in %.

Let's say that one has experienced a maximum
drawdown of 20 points for the S&P.

The formula I use to determine the number
of contracts that I trade

(Account size) divided by (margin
requirement + 50*(largest drawdown
in points))

example 10000,-$ account size
biggest drawdown in points = 20
margin requirement = 2000,-$

then number of contracts = 3.333

so 3 contracts.

That's the difference between stocks and
futures.

If you can survive a big drawdown without
giving up buying power = number of contracts
then that's ok no matter how much % of capi-
tal you risk on each trade....

sabena, very ambitious goal to say the least. will you be posting results here or your web-site? BTW, what's the URL to your site? will you post trade by real-time trade results? your's will be the most widely read thread of all time.

I do not have a website at this moment.

My friend starts with developing one this
summer.

I will post my daily results on my website.
Not real-time, I go in too fast and out too
fast. It would influence my concentration...

The reasons I do this are

first ; I like to beat records

second ; I want to make my name so
that I can start after that
my own hedge fund if I want.

Why not start it July of 2002 and end July of 2003?

Waiting 9 months for you to demonstrate your 'skills' is
a far away. Is there any particular reason for your choice
of time?

Why don't you give us a taste by posting all your trades for
a winning and losing day?

Thanks!

I want to set up a nice website and
at the moment investigating the European
futures markets.

The biggest problem is the decrease in %
return as the money grows.

At the moment 40 % of the S&P is
done electronically.

The share of the electronic market is gro-
wing every month so I hope by the end of
the year we cross 50 %.

As long as the moving average of the %
share volume of the electronic market is trending up, I will give it time. The trend is your friend :0))))
