What we're seeing in the case of the Hawks owner is the PC leftists have not only blurred the line between an actual racist statement and one having an opinion, they have obliterated it. Now a comment considered "insensitive" is considered racist. Let me instruct you lefties on the difference. Had the man said, I'm sick of seeing all these niggers at the game, now that would have been racist. Expressing an opinion on why he thinks whites are staying away is not racist, it's just his opinion. Now we can argue as to the intelligence of making that opinion public considering he makes his living in a sport that is predominately black far as the players go, and in this case his fan base is also mostly black. He probably would have better off saying something like, we're pleased to have a diverse crowd at our stadium, but that's not the point of this issue.
The point is, this is a leftist tactic to silence any opinion other than their own. You cannot comment. You cannot question. You cannot speak at all. You must sit quietly and listen. Seeing what is happening with alarming regularity I would say that the leftist PC crowd isn't winning, they've won.

The entire episode is weird. Apparently, he "self-reported" the email to the league. Was he being blackmailed over it or something? Maybe he was hoping there is another dumbass like Ballmer out there just dying to pay three or four times what a team is worth. Ha ha not likely.
What surprised me was that the owner of the team was apparently making decisions, or asking his GM to do so, based on little more than hunches. He went to a few games and felt the need to put his thoughts into an email. Odd way to do business. The stuff he wrote did make pretty good sense though. The NBA has become a subsidiary of the rap industry and few upscale whites want to be part of that kind of experience.

Are teachers now expected to be 'parents' to any thugs who can't behave in school? A lawsuit against the school and district because of kids who act like idiots? Anything for money I guess.
And before DB suggests this is a run down school, it's not. It's named for the late Jerry Zucker (a billionaire) whose wife is very involved in education and high poverty education. I've been in this school when I took a poor black kid there to see it, it's probably 5 or 6 years old, all the latest technology, swimming pool, etc.

The story about the black girl getting beaten should be headline news on every media outlet in this country. It should rival the Ferguson shooting.

Just watched the video. There was an obvious issue with this kid and his family even before this began - it's obvious in the way they are talking at first with each other, and the reason this kid even decided to video the whole thing. As to how he is "beaten", you can't see anything. All I hear is a redneck family, an insolent child (the kid) and then a scuffle with "get off me!" and since he's the only one aware of the video being recorded, he can say whatever he wants to play it up, can't he. Where are the photos that show the damage he suffered from the "beating"?
The kid got what he deserved in my opinion. Not for being gay, but being an asshole to his parents. If I spoke to my dad that way growing up, I'd have been roughed up, too.
