Bear Stearns is the first of many to come!

I wouldn't be as comfortable.

I'm not saying your judgment is misplaced; I'm just saying all these brokerage firms, including Goldman, are literal houses of cards right now, with all kinds of exotic and bizarre financial assets that are hard to understand, and even harder to assess a valuation.

if they are hard to understand, why do these exotic optinos exist? such as binary options. i've been always curious how a man made thing could be so unpredictable.

You mean like carlyle and thornburg?
you idiot.

Um carlyle isn't a public traded company and thornburg had a small market cap to begin with. No one of those companies were very important.
