Strange inconsistencies in this thread: :). :). :). :). :). :)


The destroyer (destriero) keeps showing up as blank posts, i.e. no content. I have to log off to read this magnificent stalker's posts. He is not on Ignore. Nobody is. On my very first day at ET he sent a stinker to my mailbox. Hahahahahaha. It was a stinker. And dig this, I've never had sex with her. Whew! Had I done so, ................... God help us all!

The Police Dept. here must have something to do with this oddity. Perhaps he is the son or nephew of the owner or bone's daughter or a politician's son. He's gotta be super related to somebody because he has already fired numerous expulsion-type missiles at me. Had I thrown even one missile I'd be expelled already.

HahahahahahHa, God, do I love it so! I don't usually gotta do doodly except just show up or be there and THEY find me and attack. Its an occupational hazard. :)


Requesting the cops to grant full rights to the destroyer to come to the ring against me. Make some money, all for you, charge spectators $50 a piece.

Fibo, I have good news and bad news for you to consider. The good news is that the market probably will go lower in the near future. The most recent record high only slightly exceeds the high set in 1Q 2018, so the market has basically been in a trading range for a little over a year. Since it is near its high now, it should go lower soon, unless some unexpectedly good news revivifies investors' animal spirits and they begin to party like it's 1999 again.

Now the bad news for anyone betting on immediate financial cataclysm: I recently saw data re: the time elapsed between initial yield curve inversions and the previous 7 recessions. You can see it on this podcast around the 6:00 minute mark:

Notice that 5 of those 7 recessions began a distant 19 to 27 months after the inversion, and the markets typically start falling in earnest about 5 or 6 months before the recession, so a stock market implosion is probably at least a year away. Of course, you can take some hope from the fact that 2 of those recessions began only 3 and 6 months respectively after the inversions, but in both cases that was after OPEC shocked the global economy by abruptly doubling the price of oil. We do not appear to be facing an equally abrupt and disruptive shock at this time. And if the Fed gets worried enough to pull a Greenspan a la 4Q 1998, stocks could potentially erupt to the upside for one last blow off before the encroaching recession. Just saying, your Martingale style bets on an imminent and severe mean reversion in the stock markets is not a sure thing. Sorry if this keeps you lying awake tonight.

Fibo, I think I'm gonna change my mind here again. Market prolly turning bullish.
So I'm reneging on my earlier call and going long, sorry to do this to you.
Must say it's a tad confusing atm, getting conflicting signals, maybe it's the top and hence the conflicting bull/bear signals, but tis more bullish right now, except gold & oil.
Don't mention lithium, fvckin' cot case.
