Be a Trader in US

¡Hi everyone!

I am new in this website, so this is my first post.

I am a Trader in Colombia, South America, and i´ve been researching to be a Trader in US.

My plan is as follows: The next year i will go to US to master the english language, with the J1 visa, that is, as student. This visa will allow me to work for 18 months, after that, i will need H1 visa, and will give me only if I am working. Therefore I go as prepared as possible.

I'm considering going into 2017 and make the Online Bachelor in Sciencie in business administration with an emphasis on finance and commerce at the University of Missouri Southern State University. So that when the US is taking a course of Trading and improve my knowledge in this area in order to practice.

I'd like to help resolve these doubts:

1. ¿Would be a good idea to form said bachelor online while I'm in Colombia?
2. ¿Any classroom courses which can perform once i get into US about trading to improve my knowledge and skills in the subject?
3. ¿Which city do you recommend to start this race so heartwarming?.
4. ¿Do you know any company that offers the opportunity to practice (Internship)?, No matter they are no paid, while i get experience.

I can work up to six months without pay, really what matters to me is to gain experience and start somehow in US. Of course, I also go to school and learn a lot. I almost forgot, I have another question:

5. ¿How viable it is to work on Wall Street or some other well-known place?

Not feasible. You would have to be a standout grad from a top school for them to even consider you. They probably don't even look at business majors anymore. Math and CS.

The IT industry is an easier way to get an H1B Visa.

You may get unpaid internship if you are going to attend a top school after you have had a few semesters under your belt and you have high GPA....

I understand what you say, I do not like the IT industry.

Among my plans it is to study at a college of higher education, ¿What it CS?

¿A city to start studying in a good college? ¿do you recommend any particular career?
that is the goal, a good GPA and acquire a good experience in a intershinp.

¿Do you think to serve an online bachelor?

CS is Computer Science. Math is useless without Computer Science skills.

Why do you want to go to Wall Street? Can't you find a Trading Job in Columbia? The Oil industry has Traders. On average, oil traders are more sophisticated than equities traders.
 
Go to Wall Street is a dream, But it would be another good trading firm.
I am working with equities, but i want to learn more, and US is the best place.

¿how hard it is to get a job with another firm? (Not WS).

The smaller firms don't need to get H1B visas for potential employees. There are thousands upon thousands of Top 10 graduates who are US residents and didn't get into Wall Street.

You have a better chance being discovered as the next Antonio Banderas in Hollywood.
