After Brexit everyone started selling $BCS like crazy and I am wondering why did it happen?! I understand that the company has huge amount of activities in the E.U., but does anyone here really think that they won't be able to somehow continue their operations there with all the privileges? What do you think about Barclays folks?

There is a lot of uncertainty about Brexit, no one knows how it's gonna end. It's gonna be very interesting to monitor all British stocks for the next 6 month.
Do you mean Barclays? If yes, they were involved in the Libor scandal...
I'm a long BCS right now. I hope it's not another BS.
And also this:
I think the EU won't exist in some years anymore as the nations want their sovereignity back.
And the biggest German Bank, Deutsche Bank, looks like it is the next Lehman...
Not to speak of Italian banks, or Greece.
So many more catastrophes await Europe, and the markets...
Before Brexit, everyone was already selling Barclays like crazy. -50% at the end of March.
So it was a natural short target for hedge funds waiting for the Brexit. And this is still a good short.
When everything goes wrong, weak is going weaker or die, only strong survives. As simple as that.

Deutsche Bank has a lot of troubles, but it's really too big to fail and trust me German economy can easily bail them out if necessary.
Barclays isn't that weak
It's one the biggest bank in Great Britain, what can happen here?
