As I understand the top two winners of the tournament receive 3 million dollars each to manage and pocket fees from. A decent amount of money imho.

So the winner is hired to trade for the fund and gets a management fee of something like 2%-4% of that. Something like 60-120k management fee. Not bad for a prize.

The potential 1% management fee from 3 mill AUM is $30,000 a year. Thanks, but I would rather be flipping burgers.

Professional division has a $4 million allocation and gets 17.5% of profits. I'm entering and will find out the 21st if I was chosen to compete.
