Consider that Norway has the world's highest EV penetration and it snows a bit there you just need to Google and educate yourself.

I don't need to Google Norway. I lived there for 3 months, they got nothing on NY traffic during rush hour, trying to get back to the suburbs after work. Likewise, NY prolly has nothing on LA and their traffic nightmares. But I digress.
Sorry, but I cannot find a vid of that place in the winter with lots of snow. Just as bad though for sure.
I'd rather be in an ICE vehicle during that time than an EV.
Well, soon enough in Europe you won't have the choice, all vehicles will be EVs.

Where I live you almost never need an airco.
I did in my professional life about 75,000 km (50,000 miles) each year and have never been in traffic jams for more than 1 hour.
In EU we don't buy these big V8 tanks that consume huge amounts of fuel. I need 7 liter per 100 km ( 33 miles per gallon), driving many times at speeds around 180 km/hour (115 miles per hour). f I would drive that way an EV, I would need to recharge my EV every hour.
I think we even had no snow the last 8 years even not in winter. So heating is almost never needed.
Even using airco, music and lights on, my car can easily run 24 hours stationary to give the required energy without refueling.
Biggest and real problem with EV's:
A Tesla at 200 km/h is completely empty in less than 1 hour driving.
On the German autobahn I beat any Tesla with the Mini Cooper Diesel of my wife at that speed if the trip is longer than 200 km.
Yes, you are right that EVs cannot sustain high speeds and in the future you will not be able to drive 180 km/h for 2 hours. I know it sucks, I like driving fast too, but that's just the way it will be in about 10 years. The German government won't even need to argue with auto enthusiasts about their right to drive fast. By the time EVs are able to drive 180 km/h for 2 hours, the next generation will be driving and by then the government will have quietly aligned all speeds to Euro norms.
One thing I can't wait for? The end of mopeds and their free exhaust... The noise pollution reduction is in my opinion even better than the replacement of oil with alt energies.

The world's fastest electric car charger has been launched by Swiss tech giant, ABB, and will be available in Europe by the end of 2021.
The company, valued at around €2.6 billion, says the new Terra 360 modular charger can charge up to four vehicles at once. This means drivers don't have to wait if somebody else is already charging ahead of them at the refill station - they simply pull up to another plug.
The device can fully charge any electric car within 15 minutes and delivers 100km of range in less than 3 minutes.
ABB has seen rising demand for chargers and has sold more than 460,000 electric vehicle chargers across more than 88 markets since it entered the e-mobility business in 2010.
"With governments around the world writing public policy that favours electric vehicles and charging networks to combat climate change, the demand for EV charging infrastructure, especially charging stations that are fast, convenient and easy to operate is higher than ever," says Frank Muehlon, President of ABB’s E-mobility Division.
Theodor Swedjemark, Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer at ABB, adds that road transport currently accounts for nearly a fifth of global CO2 emissions and therefore e-mobility is critical to achieving the Paris climate goals.
The EV charger is also wheelchair accessible and features an ergonomic cable management system that helps drivers plug in quickly.
The chargers will be on the market in Europe and the United States by the end of the year, with Latin America and the Asia Pacific regions due to follow in 2022.

And where does the power come from, Boris? No, it doesn't come from the plug, it comes mostly from LNG. And since LNG is spiking to record levels, where do you think people are going to get the fuel for their cars? GASOLINE! Who the hell wants the inconvenience of an EV when it will cost even more to go 300 miles in their EV than it does with ICE cars, and cause even MORE ecological damage?

That was before NG spiked to record levels in the EU zone.
It matters not. Most EV users think the power comes from the plug. Sad state of affairs.
