Hi,
I currently use TWS at IB to enter orders from a flat file using the basket facility.
In addition to Buy/Sell, Quantity and contract information etc., each order has a date and time stamp specifying when it becomes active, and another to specify when it is cancelled (if not triggered) together with a time zone.
I wondered if either TT's X-Trader or PATSystem's platform allow futures trades to be input into the system from a
flat file (CSV?) with this kind of TimeInForce info?
Each trade will be either a Market or Stop order. I also occasionally use the OCO (OneCancelsOther) association facility, specified in the flat file.
I've been to both their web sites and cannot find any functionality similar to TWS's.
Does anyone have any experience of doing this kind of thing with either product?
Many thanks,
L.
