I like to create a csv file every day to upload to IB with the Basket Trader. For most cases, for a sell order, I would just like to sell all the shares for a particular symbol, yet it would seem that I have to enter a specific quantity of shares. Is there anyway around this? Is there a way that I can just tell it to sell 100% of the shares in that account for a symbol?

I did figure out one way to work around it. When I create the basket order in Excel, for any sell orders, I just set 0 for the quantity. When I upload the basket, IB gives an error message saying that "size must be specified" but I select OK anyways. Then I click on the quantity for each symbol and select "position" before I transmit the order.
