Your choice should only be based on the stats of your system. Never use any information from somebody else unless you checked it in your system. Your system will generate the profits or the losses...
I traded a few years with a 2 points stop and raised it now to 3 points. Drawdown stays the same and overall profits went up. So even within your own system you should check again on a regular basis.
In trading nothing is static, it is dynamic. You should be dynamic too.
