In an effort to talk live about the FX market and answer questions about our programs we will be maintaining an FX chat on ET 24 hours a day 5 days a week. Just go to ET chat and come on in.

Well, it OK you are trying a new idea. In fact it's very fine. But I know it's very difficult to trade and make research while you are in a chatroom. Even writing to this thread while trading is not easy. But I wish you good luck with the chatroom!

Yes the Luni is CAD.

We are not saying Cable will go down 200 pips!

but

It should be a nice trade to the downside. we made an avg of 60 pips last week so we missed out on alot more. Better to make money than be a pig. Plus it was in more of a downtrend last week and this week it is in an uptrend so we are wary but the strategy is a high probability trade.

Not much action yet?

In Foreign Exchange the interest rate differential is paid daily between a countries interest rate and their currency. Wed's at 5pm EST is the day that the weekend is paid as delivery is 2 days. Usually after 5pm est on wed's there is a selloff at some point in the night.

last week cable went down 200 pips!

you dont have to short it right after 5pm but look to scale into the trade and trade it to the downside all night.

Well, not this time!

14.30 GMT we will have some very important US numbers: GDP 1st revisions, jobless claims, personal consumption and - maybe the most important because of fear of inflation - core Price Deflator, PCE Index.. I April it was 0,2. But in March 0.4. Consensus is now 0.2. Greenspan will be watching this!

Any surprises will move the market.

Before that:

6.45 GMT France: Business Confidence and Production Outlook.

9,30 GMT UK: Consumer Confidence.

Hi Chaw,

Please go to the new ET forex chatroom. As a newbie you will learn a lot (I hope) to see real traders trade live - and speak with them.

P.S. I myself don't like chatrooms very much. But let's give this new room a chance!
