Hey Baruch,

how much are you up since you started using your system?

Hi Kicking,

Well, I have a very nice profit, but it's difficult to say in a meaningfull way how much I am up, since I started my system nearly a month ago. The problem is that I started trading 3 pairs, which gives more pips on the record, but now I only trade EUR/USD (but in bigger size). Yesterday I also traded S&P500 (!).

P.S. But if you read the whole thread, you will see all my gains and losses day after day.

Quote from Baruch:

The best:

Edwin Lefevre: "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator"

Also very good:

Bernard M. Baruch: "My Own Story".

Two useless books:

Victor Niederhoffer: "The Education of a Speculator".

Lewis J. Borsellino: "The Day Trader".

Anyone who knows Team Forex? (www.teamforex.com). They have a web tradingroom, which - according to Team Forex - made 264 pips until now this month, but lost 240 pips last month. I could like to know how they make their calls.

Hi Baruch,

Below is a brief explanation of Teamforex's trading methodology from their online faq. You can also read recos with some explanation of the reasons behind them by James, the founder of Teamforex, on the Recommendations forum at MontyTec.

3. What are your strategies based on?
It is impossible to cover everything we use and how we use it in our analysis of the markets, hence the two-day training course. However in brief we trade the setup more then the reaction, and in doing so then rely very little on lagging indicators, but more on leading indicators, thus use horizontal support and resistance levels, Fibonacci levels and a few other indicators. Most of these are discussed openly in the conference room on a daily basis to existing Gold & Platinum Clients.

Hi chaos,

Thank you. Leading indicators? I thought all indicators was lagging...

Quote from Baruch:

I have just read the book, and I don't think it's good. You don't learn very much, and it's poorly written. You waste your money and time. Only good for newbies.
I can't understand why Mark is such a big shot...

Well, Scientist tells me, that Mark's "Trading in the Zone" is a great book. So now I have to buy it - I can't disagree with Sci without reading it.
