Baruch, when you place trades in multiple pairs but all against USD Do you have a set size you normally use and break it into equal amounts for each pair? i.e. each of the pairs today were moving in sync with the fall in the dollar thus while overall movement may differ to some degree, their correlated, so you most likely end up with three winners or three b/e / losses (obviously this isnt exact but hope you get my meaning).

When im trading I tend to look out for one common currency amongst the pairs traded so im not putting too much size on one side of the market, either by splitting my size into roughly equal measures or focusing on one pair only.

Hi izeickl,

Yes, I traded against USD in all my positions. I want to keep it simple. I could just have traded only one of the pairs, but the buy signals did not arrive at the same time. And I want to test which pair is the best to trade with my system.

Wow, Baruch have you only ever had one loosing trade with this system and only 5 pips? Are you still following your original set up?

I think my first 69 trades were all winners. The first loss came on the 70th trade.

Apparently you have had a very good and profitable system.

Thanks for your thread and for having us to share ideas here.

Signing off now. Bye! :)

A nice day with a netto gain of 248 pips in euro, GBP and CHF. 67 in euro, 63 in CHF and 123 in GBP. But also my first loss with my system: 5 pips in GBP - and a b/e. There was some action around the cross in GBP.

A fine trending day - and I suppose I could had made even more pips if I had not been so busy with writing posts to my thread...But I like to discuss with my trader-friends, and new, good ideas and comments will turn to pips later, I suppose.

Again I had problems with my exit. I think the best solution to this problem is just to study the charts, and looking for topping action. You know - keeping it simple. Very simple.

Maybe I did go flat too early - who knows? - but I suppose these markets are news-driven (the killing of the Hamas-leader), and we don't know what's happening in Pakistan. Remember the Saddam Hussein-gap?

Wow Baruch! You did it again!

Obviously, my ES play turned out nice, and I had a few intraday trades in between, netting just over 10 pts, with the rest still running - But that's about 40T, in comparison to your 250T that is small change!

Damn, I guess I should have paid more attention to forex!

Quite something what you call "a nice day". Even if you traded minimal contract size (1), you have at least netted US$ 2,393.75 today. To be honest, it took me a while to become "cool" and consistent about daily gains like that. Most traders never reach that level, and I recommend you study very carefully what it is that is working for you right now - particularly psychologically.

To further add to that, I cannot (consistently) pull the kind of profits you're doing right now out of the market. It's exceptional performance. If I did $2.4K per day per contract on my typical contract size, you would soon see me with a larger collection of these:

Nice work man! Keep us posted!

Baruch .... Sorry if U had posted this and I didn't see it but what hours do U typically trade......

Hi AC3,

I trade when I'm not sleeping or have other important things to do. But I love Forex is a 24 hours market.
