Bartiromo's new home

Quote from late apex:

That makes no sense to me. Why would the relocation company LIST the place for less than their COST and then SELL it for less still?

- sell price < listing price ... obviously not uncommon, particularly for high-end properties

- listing price < cost ... new RE math?

Looks like something's going on behind the scenes, some clever quid pro quo or property tax scheme. Those numbers don't tell the full story.

Looks like some relocation deal going on here. Maybe the previous owner got a new job and the firm will eat the difference to have him relocated?

I guess its supposed to look classy, but i reckon the decor sucks.
Maybe if you were 100 years old, you'd think it was pretty swish.......

Obviously, the prior older owner's decor and furnishings.

At $6+Mil, you can bet the fortyish new owners are going for a near-total re-do.

Your likely right, except a refit would probably cost 6 mill-very wealthy folk are notorious for APPALLING taste, i'd bet the tradesman would laugh up a storm at some of these gigs.

"They want what? you mean fitted in that room? Bwahahaha, ok. Tell 'em that'll be, oh, $50k for the fittings yep, hehehehe. Were going to europe for holidays this year, kids."

So is this the Bartiromo Top in Manhattan housing? Like the Bartiromo Bottom in 2002 when she babbled about shorting stocks.

What a genius investor.
