i know its tough to adapt to change and that sometimes we get lousy cards.
i started out in commodities when they sucked, no solid action there whatsoever, and had to figure things out in markets where professionals outnumbered retails by 99 to 1, and where there weren't even any dumb mutual funds, every single player in the game was capitalized and tough.
i didn't just walk into my current strategy with a bluebird on my shoulder either, i took hard earned knowledge and adjusted it with the harsh lessons of many setbacks and screwups and wakeup calls. i know all about walking a frustrating road that alternates between anger, despair and sleepless nights before finally getting where you want to go. i know all about hating change with a passion, about swearing that if i had to learn one more thing or make one more mistake i would smash my computer.
so i'm not making pronouncements on high from smugville, i've faced the pain.
i guess i just reacted to the complaining aspect, which isn't good for anyone. there's no value in lamenting what you cannot change, only in working with what you can.
