Quote from Tsing Tao:
north korea has been sabre rattling for a long time now. you cant exactly lay that at bush's feet. and bin laden was actually dead if clinton would have acted. the fact that 9/11 happen was less a testament to bush (who had only recently been elected) and more a testament to decades of us foreign policy AND a miscalculation on bin laden's part that GWB would be a push over.
as for iran, i think you can safely lay that at bush's feet, as he was the one who removed both of iran's enemies.
but no one doubted the us had strong leadership in ANY case. they do now.
North Korea built their nukes under Bush,Not Obama, not Clinton, not Bush Sr or Reagan
I don't see how you can come to the conclusion no one doubted the US had strong leadership under Bush when you look at everything that happened under his leadership...Korea and Iran building nukes,Taliban calling his bluff when he demanded they turn over Bin Laden,Unable to Get the UN to go into Iraq with him,9-11 etc
9-11 is Bush's fault, not Clinton.Bush got this warning and had 36 days to act
"Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US was the President's Daily Brief given to U.S. President George W. Bush on August 6, 2001. The President's Daily Brief (PDB) is a brief of important classified information on national security collected by various U.S. intelligence agencies given to the president and a select group of senior officials. The brief warned of terrorism threats from Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda over a month before the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Some arguments have focused on clear warnings in this letter, specifically that:
the title was Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US
a large attack was planned
the attack would be on United States soil
target cities of attacks included New York City and Washington, D.C.
the World Trade Center bombing was explicitly mentioned
hijacked plane missions were anticipated
people living in, or traveling to, the United States were involved
recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York was witnessed."
