Baron's Journey to Single-Digit Bodyfat

Man... Baron how much weight have u lost?? U look skinny, even ur arms which used to look beefy, slim bodybuilder style, look small.
But can t complain about the leaness if that was what you were looking for.
If I was to give advice, I would say forget that crap diet, lift heavy weights, jump head first in the fridge and post a new picture once you have put on 50lbs :)
Seriously I can t imagine it to be particularly healthy to try and get even leaner.
:p

On a side note, if one wants to be rather slim, very lean but still strong, isnt it better to give up the bodybuilding style training and switch to
calisthenics or rock climbing?
Might be a drastic move after 40 but those guys despite a rather small frame and usually very?lean body still exhude power, very impressive

Oh f*ck me... that was U FF? At 60 ??
I take back my previous post, I still prefer bigger bodies but no doubt u spent a lot of work on yours.
That doesn't look like 18% bf btw and from ur posts u are still able to do decent pull up work (I'm not' ),

Thanks, I think. (Although I'm pretty sure Baron won't be flattered by your error. :D ) But please keep in mind that, physique-wise, my best days are behind me, as I wrote in May:
...My arms and shoulders took a bigger hit over the years.
I'm only a shade over 5'3" and now weigh less that 130 lbs. At my peak and even into my late 40s or very early 50s, I weighed in the mid-140s. And I was leaner. (I hit 150 in the early '90s for a very brief period, but I was not at my leanest at that weight.) But keeping up with my then workout volume became too much of a struggle. So is it the getting older part or the reduced volume part that did a number on me? Well, on the one hand, I can't avoid getting older. And on the other hand, I can't deal with the old volume at full intensity. So it is what it is.

I'm not a fan of heights. However, all of my exercises do presently include, and are mostly limited to, my body weight. So...yeah.

I took a few selfies this morning, because the light right against the open front door is just right when I look at myself in the hall mirror. However, looking at the camera, I get washed out in light. So I had to step a bit out of the light, which obscures some detail. The picture is not very clear because I had to use the zoom on the cell phone to size it properly. Honest opinion, please. BF%.

I don't know which is better or worse, so I posted 3 of the 4 I took. (The one I didn't post is obviously the best one. :D )

You are in extremely good shape for any age let alone 60. Your build reminds me of my brother, now 65, who is about 5' 6", 145 or so. You definitely look leaner than high teens for BF. I am impressed. BTW, your f'n slow reps are killing my ass. Jesus I'm sore.

Thanks, but it'll be 61 in a few weeks.

Catalog of gift ideas available on request, along with a countdown of shopping days remaining.

It was the only way I could get back at you for your politics. :D

Those photos look impressive.
Nobody seems willing to guess a BF%, so let me take the bait. I would guess between 10% and 12% BF. It depends a bit on how lean your back and your legs are. Those are not visible on these photos.
Thanks. I don't think I'm quite at 10-12%, but I'm really hoping it's not 18%. My legs, while not large, are reasonably proportionate and fairly lean and defined. I don't think my back is notably different than my front, meaning I don't look like someone else from the back. So I think what you see is fairly representative.

As an aside, they say a BIA scale runs a mild electrical current up one leg and down the other. I get the same effect when I see Michelle Pfeiffer on screen. :D
