Baron's Journey to Single-Digit Bodyfat

So then I decided to figure out how much cardio I'd have to do to burn that off. Honestly, I hate cardio, so realistically I'm never going to do more than 30 minutes of steady state cardio, which usually ends up being 300 calories per session. So if you divide 25,900 calories by 300 calories per session, it comes out to be 86 days straight of cardio, which is almost three solid months. Wow, that's sort of an eye-opener. I've been doing some walks and other random activities besides weight training, but these numbers tell me that I will have to get serious about expending extra energy if I'm going to reach my goal by the mid-July timeframe.
Your calculation seems correct to me. If you want to reduce the 3 month period of "cardio suffering" you'd have to do longer cardio sessions each day. Either 3 months at 30 mins/day, or 1.5 months at 1 hour/day.

Isn't 200mg too much in one go? And Arimidex is serious poison. Screws the liver up.

You probably read that before, but 200mg of test cypionate is equivalent to approx 173mg of Test propionate. 50mg eod should work fine, here Test prop doses of 25 and 50mg per cc are available otc, I'm about to start taking 50mg eod. It would have been more convenient to move to Europe first to start but there it goes anyway...

Testosterone Base: 100mg
Testosterone Acetate: 83mg
Testosterone Propionate : 80mg
Testosterone Isocaproate: 72mg
Testosterone Enanthate : 70mg
Testosterone Cypionate : 69mg
Testosterone Phenylpropionate: 66mg
Testosterone Decanoate: 62mg
Testosterone Undecanoate: 61mg

That guy looks emaciated to me. He needs some more meat on his bones.

I agree, he doesn't look good. More like Christian Bale in The machinist, but who knows, maybe the this is what the role needs?

The reason I posted was because the similar age and target body fat. Took him 6 months.

So I did some calculations today based upon my DEXA scan. Without getting into the boring details of the math, I figured out that for every 1% of bodyfat that I need to lose, that equates to 1.85lbs of fat. So if I'm at 12.9% now, and I'm wanting to lose 4% more, that would put me at 8.9% which would equal 7.4lbs of fat total.

There's 3,500 calories in a pound of fat, so 7.4 lbs x 3,500 cal = 25,900 calories. So I will need to burn an extra 25,900 calories while keeping my daily calorie intake right around my maintenance level of 1,800 calories per day in order for me to achieve my goal.

What type of cardio do you do Baron?

What type of cardio do you do Baron?

I use an elliptical machine called a Cybex Arc Trainer for most of my cardio. It looks like this...

You know you'll lose muscle too during your descent into lower BF? That muscle loss is worth it to you why? Once you get where you want to be BF, you will stay there and build muscle back? No 'bulking up & cutting' routines anymore?

You know you'll lose muscle too during your descent into lower BF?

Yes. I'm aware of that. It's inevitable.

That muscle loss is worth it to you why?

It's worth it me because I don't believe that muscle by itself is the end-all be-all. There are plenty of big guys out there that have way more muscle than I do. And they are way stronger too. But for me, I believe that having less muscle at 8% or 9% bodyfat will end up being a better look for my frame than having more muscle at 15% - 20% bodyfat looks.

Once you get where you want to be BF, you will stay there and build muscle back? No 'bulking up & cutting' routines anymore?

No more bulking and cutting. I'm not a professional bodybuilder and have no desire to be. The only thing that I see changing when I get down to the level I want is putting back some starchy carbs in my diet to fill out some.
My only source of carbs right now are whatever small amounts are in the strawberries, blueberries and other raw fruit I have with each meal. I haven't had any rice, bread, pasta or anything like that since I started this diet.
