No, I would just be disappointed in Vanguard if they succumbed. But that is not the point. You made a claim. I just asked you to back it up with a link. You didn't. Conclusion: you're dreaming.
I don't know the source, I clearly said it was anonymous on my first post to you, but anyway, I expected as much from you that you will never admit you're wrong on anything wrt Bitcoin

Well you do know that he is resigning now, right? Timing is suspicious don't you think? He will stay around till end of year, but the announcement timing certainly is suspect.

I don't think crypto falls within Vanguard's investment philosophy.
He's resigning right now? There's always someone resigning right now. He's been with the organization 33 years. Do you have any specific information about his resignation apart from speculative inferences and wishful thinking?
Do you actually expect the board of directors to say they they asked him to leave because customers are complaining that they missed out on the biggest ETF launch to date and are missing out on at least 30-50% gains since the launch?
Bitcoin hit a record $68,999.99 in November 2021. Why wasn't he fired or forced to resign then, or given a warning or instruction to start playing with crypto?
As I noted earlier, crypto does not, or should not, fall in line with Vanguard's investment philosophy. If they do take it up, it will be a departure from their approach which, thus far, has been very successful over a fairly long period of time - since 1975.
In any event, why would customers complain? They can choose whatever ETF suits them, if not one of Vanguard's then another's. It's not like they're locked into one company with their money.
