3 points in what, the ES? So, roughly 70 contracts. It would be awhile before you are doing 70 contracts starting with $500. It also assumes trading 50 weeks of the year and no losing days, which could suck on a 70 contract trade. How about you go 10 contracts and 20 pts. a day? Somewhat realistic in the current markets, but the again the dog days of summer could make that not too realistic.
50 weeks a year is pushing it for me also. Between what feels like a holiday every month, and vacation or family obligations, I haven't ever traded 50 weeks out of a year.
 
And while various members are finger pointing and complaining about each other's actions, BTC, SOL, and MATIC are going apeshit. :D

The 1000% claim by virtusa, is it achievable?
Dunno, I'm not a day trader, but it's possible imo.
Efficient short term trading.
Aggressive
Fully or patially automated
Small size.
It would not be something one could do consistently, there would be windows of opportunity where one could trade larger size at times.
Leverage employed.

Then other factors such as probably having no family responsibilities, no distractions.
Probably a single person, but a team effort of dedicated diehards could also achieve it.

The best I've done is a penny stock I'm still holding, about 600% so far, but that's over a couple of years.

Virtusa sounds to me either Eastern European or maybe Asian, he sure is throwing the shit back.
I was super pissed off with the bullying toward him, but I've got over it now, Baron seems to think a sideshow is ok, so I'm ok with that. :)

We're actually STILL WAITING on proof that he outperformed bitcoin for the 9 years prior to April of 2021, which was a profitability claim of 36,000% or more.

Yep I wondered about that. My Life is about to get pretty busy again, so solving the Market will have to be put on the backburner for a bit again. I thought I'd abandon ET for awhile, but with entertainment like these threads who can resist.
