Jem was talking about american citizens, the HRW confirmed 17 americans, your other links and quotes don't dispute these numbers and don't have a list of hundreds/thousands of american citizens of muslim faith detained after 9/11. The arrests of illegal immigrants that they are talking about is a completely different matter.

There is a section on that site called "Names". In it, you could of the people who disappeared.

Having me saying that, and due to the fact that there is no official record to back my allegation aside from the disappeared site I posted earlier, I find myself compelled to apologize to jem. I should've investigated the matter further and obtained credible sources prior to making such allegations

I certainly meant reputable sources (like the HRW or ACLU), not some obscure unknown websites which no one has ever heard of and which are a dime a dozen. The name section does not even have the US in the country of origin list. For the fun of it I added your name to the detainee database under Palestine but when I tried to re-retrieve nothing came up. Maybe they are praying 6 times a day and their database is down. I'll try again tomorrow.
