I have issues with actual trading? Please explain?

I am a trader, my mind is trained to see past the obvious proposition (for better or worse) so I will seem initially off-topic sometimes. So will any reasonably intelligent person.

I have just recently joined and I can identify a core extreme few who are Statlers & Waldorfs, Dunning & Krugers, sadists and masochists.. Some all of them. They just want to piss about, never admit fault or develop an idea that is not obviously, very superficially, supporting their argument among other wrecking behaviors.

The majority of people are fair-minded and reasonable but they struggle here. How long before a site old timer comes in banging garbage can lids? Dreadful spelling, presumably intentional abuse of capitalisation very often to rile the smart-asses..or possibly just very stoned when writing sometimes?

Some of these guys stand out a mile for having insufficient education to trade successfully. One in x might be a savant but that is a vanishingly small number.

The only non-invitation only site that keeps civil is BMT and I would imagine half of the aforementioned were banned from and HATE that site for not respecting their "free-speech" and being "facist" and all... It is a bit low energy for trolls on BMT.

Perhaps creating a trial, fixed lifespan off-topic discussion room for US I.P. traders and one for Non-US I.P. traders would be worth a go? I feel bad for the centrist Americans but the extreme left and right are just too much hard work for the 95.6% of the non-American world right now.

I have American staff, I married an American (widower) I have many good friends all across the US of A. On this site however I suspect it is just a matter of time before an American troll makes a 'dead wife' crack now that I wrote that..

If they want echo chambers, let them have it. Real trolls are sadists and they do not care about right or left views, they just want to upset. It would be interesting to see how separating the groups would change things.

there is a lot of overlap between the two categories. it is similar to many CEOs, inc. great ones, who are near psychopaths. it is a well documented characteristic of leadership.
