i think there is a very simple answer. their religious belief required
studying the bible. therefore they had to be able to read hundreds
of years before the average european did. when only priests and
writers for official duties could read, not even the king and surely
not the average guy, almost all male jews and many females did.
so they had a competitive advantage for centuries. consequently
they could calculate earlier and made quicker progress once
natural science entered the scene. with todays educational
system that advantage is reduced and i would think that the
jewish nobel share has been shrinking over recent decades.
on a sidenote i think that is why the little nazis believe in the
global conspiracy. intelligent people of other believes simply like
to communicate with ... intelligent people, thus they prefer to
talk to jews than to nazis. and this is why media and arts seem
to be more jewish than they in fact are.
the real point on the whole "all equal" discussion is the distinction
between factual and evaluational difference. take a look at a white
man and a black man. are they "equal"? certainly not. one is white
one is black. no big thing stating this. since the white man is not
"equal" to any other white man either. as long as there is no
evaluation, everything is fine.
i personally think that male brains work differently than females'.
of course alway spkaing on averages, being aware of outliers. i
do think that our society tends to have distorted emphasis on
male attributes, that is why the superior multitasking communication
skills of females are not given as much value as the one after one
accurately in numbers thinking men's mind. in the very moment
when i skip evaluation altogether i can start enjoying this variety
instead of fighting in or consciously ignoring it.
with blacks and whites i always admire the feeling to move among
many blacks. ryhtm, dance, singing ... they are so natural, it is
amazing. but again, that is given little value compared to nuclear
physicists.

i think this happens in meditation very clearly. after an intense
meditation one simply does not recognise differences. even the
sexiest woman suddenly appears very equal to everybody else.
and you realise that what you got so excited about an hour before
is simply some cubiccentimeters of flesh here and there, nothing
more.
