This entire thread is amusing... considering the characters involved.
Now let's get back to my basic thoughts. The Politics forum is filled with posts from people with divergent perspectives. I hope it can be used for a polite discussion of political policy and events. I also ask that people be civil to one another. The recent trend of posting the same stuff over & over again as threads with either the same or slightly different titles does not add anything to the discussion but simply frustrates readers. As does starting dozens of new threads every day. Likewise continually posting the exact same article over & over again in threads is an abuse of the forum.
Let me recollect the points made by a moderator at one point in time in regards to the "not for faint of heart" P&R forum. The following would likely get you banned.
1) Continuously insulting and abusing another poster.
2) Threatening another poster or a public figure with physical harm.
3) Continuously posting the same thing over & over again to the point it is abusive.
That is my understanding of the rules that Baron and other moderators have put into place. They seem reasonable IMO. One of them can expand on this if necessary.
