Some of you are really going all out in this thread. I suppose it is healthy since everyone is letting off some steam.
Personally, I believe that anyone who takes a large personal investment in time and money (as Baron has done to create EliteTrader) is entitled to set their own rules and standards. If you truly feel that this place is managed poorly, then by all means take your own time out and start your own website. Once you get to the level of users that this board has, good luck pleasing everyone all of the time.
You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you will never be able to please all of the people all of the time.
Everyone is titled to complain but not every complaint is going to receive immediate action.
Personally, Jack uses a very encrypted form of english. It is so vague, that one could read it from any angle and derive some form of meaning that may or may not have been intended.
Here is an example:
I am going to go to the store to purchase some beer for tonight's party.
That sentence is clear, concise and coherent. I state where I am going, why I am going there and what I will be doing after I leave. It uses a minimum of words and is easily digestible.
Now, I'll take that exact sentence and run it through my Hershey encoder ring and this is what I now have:
It is important to observe, by acknowledging specific parameters of state, that once I begin to undertake an endeavor, I must focus my knowledge on the chaotic cycles that are present through the journey. It is as a baby walks, or crawls if he has not learned the former, that the path is a long one filled with cracks that one could inherently fall through. These sidewalks run far and in many directions, yet there is only one specific occurrence of the pattern that will arrive me to my destination. Likewise, leaving behind other path's which may or may not have been more beneficial (take examples of sudden price discounts from other venues), I continue this journey since this is my plan of action from the beginning. Once I have come to that specific circumstance of action which was intended, I can then purchase what I need and use monetary displacement principles in the process. It is akin to barter but more efficient through fiat exchange and relocation. The resolution of such a systematic exchange of cause and effect leaves me having completed my journey.
